Now that we’re settled into the New Year, we can start to look ahead at what February will bring.

Thankfully, this week is a relatively calm one, featuring romantic Venus as a major player.

Our emotions, reactions, experiences, and connections are highlighted in different ways by the stars and planets.

On Monday, the movement of sensual Venus into Aquarius changes the influence on our romantic lives.

As we leave behind Venus in Capricorn, we may feel more aloof in our approach to love.

This energy will be felt for several weeks, until Thursday, February 25.

So expect a freeing, peace-and-love vibe throughout the month.

Despite the detached influence of Venus, on Monday the masculine Sun square Mars transit that passes overhead will help to balance us out.

Leaning too much into this aggressive energy could also bring flared tempers and the risk of accidents, however.

Later in the week, on Saturday, Venus returns to the forefront.

On the same day, we experience both Venus conjunct Saturn and Venus square Uranus.

Somber Saturn combined with oversensitive Venus is a difficult frequency to navigate, demotivating us and making us feel lethargic and pessimistic.

On the other hand, unique Uranus has us craving the unusual, sometimes, just for the sake of being different.

We can expect the unexpected and even get ahead of the game by surprising ourselves with a shake-up to our usual routine.

All in all, much of the focus this week is on our emotional selves and how we balance our energies to be in tune with the people and world around us.

As a fresh start to the month, on Monday, February 1, Venus moves out of Capricorn and into Aquarius.

Where the planet of love was ambitious under the influence of the Sea-Goat, now she is aloof under the Water-Bearer.

We will be seeking loving connections with romantic partners, friends, nature, and the wider world.

From Monday, February 1 to Thursday, February 25, our inner hippies will come out as we take in the free love from those around us.

Not only are those around us feeling the peace and love vibes, but we are sending out loving energy too.

We are keen to explore this side of ourselves, wanting to express the love we feel tangibly.

Experimental and curious, this is a time for learning about your relationships with others.

On Monday, February 1, the Sun square Mars transit means two masculine energies are vying for our attention and it’s sure to set tempers flaring.
