♍♍♍ The Sun entering Virgo this week is here to remind us that we all still have work to do.

There are a couple of big Mercury influences this week including Mercury in Virgo and the Sun conjunct Mercury. Another pleasant energy we will all feel is Venus sextile Uranus which can give us a creative burst when it comes to conceptualizing ideas.

August 22, 2020 the Sun will be moving into Virgo! Although I think that we can collectively agree that Leo season is a lot of fun, but now the Universe wants us to remind us of why we are here in this human experience with Virgo season.
Virgo is the Maiden of the zodiac. There is a lot of symbolism when it comes to Virgo and I believe it has to do with eradicating the ego and returning to our true purpose: to experience this life and all of it’s human qualities in the purest way possible.
Being on the axis with Pisces, you can see there's a pattern that I mentioned above: eradication of the ego. While Pisces uses Neptunian energy to bring you so far out that all you can experience is oneness through eradication of the ego when you surrender, Virgo uses much more human qualities to get the job done.
Virgo is a woman, which presents feminine energy that may draw in the subconscious needs, wants, insecurities, and shadow. Virgo is also ruled by Mercury which has to do with thinking and communication. Virgo is one of the best critical thinkers of the zodiac and they love to communicate their findings. They are also very detail-oriented and want to fix everything.
Connecting that to Leo season that is just passing and the expansive New Moon in Leo, it’s Virgo’s job to remind us that yes, it’s amazing to have big dreams and visions, but Virgos help us plan and put details into the big dreams visions we have.
Virgo can come off as high strung or nitpicky, but in all honesty they are just refining the vision for our soul’s deepest desires so that we can actualize it.

☿️Mercury in Virgo ♍ - Clear Thinking and Communication
Wednesday August 19, 2020 will kick off Mercury visiting its second home, Virgo until September 5, 2020. Virgo is ruled by Mercury, so you can expect a much clearer mind and conversation between friends, family, and colleagues -- even the way that you think of and internally talk to yourself.
You might remember that I mentioned that we’ve been going through a bit of a “communication bootcamp” in these past few couple of months with Mercury in retrograde and then experiencing some challenging aspects to Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto.
Now though, you’ll be able to get into a nice flow state with your thoughts and the way you choose to communicate them.
Virgo is highly analytical and this can be helpful on many fronts. Usually when the critique is turned inward, it can make us unsure of ourselves, but right now the things that have been noticed don’t have to be internalized. With Mercury’s strong influence here, you’ll be able to correctly express dissatisfaction and quickly find a solution!
For most earth signs -- Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn -- this is great because you’ll be able to see through the fluff and get straight to materializing your goals.
For other mutable signs that might be more “big picture” type of people, it’s important not to fall into the anxiety of the options laid out for you. Instead, try to stay out of your head and see the reality that Virgo season is presenting to you. Yes, Virgo can sometimes be harsh, but she's always fair.
At the end of the day, Mercury in Virgo encourages you to use your critical thinking and discernment for good.
