With so many transits and conjunctions this week, as well as a New Moon in the mix, it can be hard to know which way to turn and how we really feel.
Thankfully, by practicing patience and taking it one day at a time, we’re sure to come out on the other side with an improved state of mind.

The major news this week is Wednesday’s New Moon in Capricorn. 
As always, New Moons are about our inner selves and the manifestation of our hopes and dreams.
The influence of Capricorn sees us focusing on our relationship with money and objects. And we may find ourselves questioning the meaning of our lives.
On Thursday, Uranus turns direct. For the last five months, while Uranus has been in retrograde motion, we may have hoarded our resources in the face of future threats.
But now, we may see these threats were imagined and not real at ALL.
And perhaps, it’s better to use what you have while you have it rather than hoarding it like a dragon hoards gold.
Jupiter is heavily involved this week, with a Jupiter square Uranus transit on Sunday 17th and Mercury conjunct Jupiter on Monday 11th.
Frustrations and tempers can flare under the influence of Mercury square Uranus and Mars square Saturn which happens on Wednesday 13th.
Thankfully, we also have some light relief on Wednesday, when Venus trines Uranus and gets us feeling confident and independent, especially when it comes to love and money.
The main takeaway this week that sometimes things just don’t work - when this happens, we need to take a deep breath and try again!

Since August 2020, Uranus has been in Retrograde in Taurus. This means that it appears from Earth that Uranus is moving backward through the sky.
During this time, we have been inclined to batten down the hatches due to the threat of future turmoil.
On Thursday, January 14, Uranus finally turns direct and appears to move forward through the skies again.
We can expect to feel a sense of relief, like a weight being lifted off our shoulders, as we realize we do not need to build protective walls around ourselves.
As much as we try to prepare for the future, it is impossible to know what will happen.
Worry, fear, and anxiety about the future have held us back from living life to the fullest.
Now that this has been released, we realize that much of what we feared has not come to fruition.
Fortunately, the period of retrograde motion has allowed us to work on our shadow selves, particularly concerning our security and monetary issues.

New opportunities for change arrive on Sunday, January 17.
Jupiter brings fortune and new horizons, promising an optimistic outlook on opportunities that come our way.
Uranus, by contrast, is a bit of a rebel and likes to bring unexpected surprises into our lives, as well as an anti-authority attitude.
We are frustrated with the state of affairs and want to lash out at the system.
