Romance surrounds us this week!

Not only is Valentine’s Day on the horizon for the end of the week, but sensual Venus, warmonger Mars, and chatty Mercury ALL have roles to play.

With so much going on, it’s impossible to pin down one event as “the main event” this week.

Certainly, the most dramatic occurrence with the most wide-reaching consequences will be the New Moon in Aquarius on Thursday.

Not only is the New Moon in the sign of the Water-Bearer but this Sun-Moon conjunction is squared to Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius.

This double whammy makes for a confusing time, as we feel both the logical, rational energy of Aquarius and the risk-taking influence of Uranus.

Looking at the rest of the week, we can expect a tumultuous emotional ride.

On Monday, the Sun-Mercury (retrograde) conjunction highlights mental pursuits and trials of the mind.

Students rejoice, for our powers of reasoning and our memory is greatly improved under this conjunction.

It’s the perfect opportunity to focus our efforts on study and knowledge although Mercury is retrograde so we can expect to review projects and plans from the past.

On Wednesday, Mercury squaring Mars has our tempers threatening to boil over as we struggle to keep our cool.

By Thursday, the Venus-Jupiter conjunction makes it hard to resist temptation as we find ourselves in a romantic mindset ahead of Valentine’s Day.

This over-indulgent conjunction makes it hard to know when to say “stop”!

On Saturday, Mercury conjuncts Venus and Mars sextiles Neptune passing over our heads.

And on Sunday, as romance fills the air around us, Mercury conjuncts Jupiter bringing out our curious side.

Go with the flow this week, allowing the challenges and rewards from the planets to present themselves to you.
