Jupiter Conjunct Pluto: A New Way of Life

I had mentioned that this was a big week, but let me go in more depth to highlight its significance. On Tuesday, June 30th, 2020 we will be experiencing the 2nd of three Jupiter-Pluto conjunctions. There will be three present this year, just as always with this transit.

However, this transit doesn’t come along very often.

In fact, it only takes place once every decade and brings major changes along with it. The last time that the collective experienced this transit was at the end of 2007 (keep that in mind!).

At that time, the Jupiter-Pluto conjunction was in Sagittarius. This time, it will be in Capricorn and next time, in Aquarius.

The last time this transit took place in Capricorn, the world experienced huge shifts and they stemmed from the financial and health crisis.

The last time Jupiter formed a conjunction to Pluto in Capricorn was in 1771, there were 3 huge quarantines in Russia to stop the spread of the infamous “Black Death,” or bubonic plague. It took anywhere from 50,000 to 100,000 lives.

Now, you might have remembered me mentioning that this is a huge positive aspect for the collective right now. You might be thinking I’m crazy or wondering why?

Capricorn represents patriarchy, structures, and mass production that we all experience here on this material plane.

Much of humanity's suffering stems from these ideals.

When leveraged correctly, the materialistic and ambitious energy that Capricorn presents can be extremely productive, but when it becomes power-hungry, this can be dangerous to everyone on both a macro and micro level.

Although we’ve forced ourselves to get used to these systems, are they really serving us?

On a collective level, we’re experiencing gigantic, transformative shifts that are absolutely necessary for us to evolve.

On an individual level, you’ll feel an urge to revisit your soul’s purpose and calling here in this lifetime. Don’t ignore it!

More importantly, don’t be afraid to let go of things that no longer serve you so that you can tap into the expansive energy that Jupiter is longing to bring into your life.

Think about what may have been taking place around 2007 or 2008 in your experience. These are clues to what may be expanding or expelling.

Saturn Retrograde in Capricorn

On Wednesday, July 1, 2020, Saturn retrogrades back into Capricorn where it will stay until September 2020.

I have been mentioning a recurring theme: you can’t decide where to move forward without revisiting the past.

This is true with every retrograde, but especially Saturn Retrogrades.

Saturn went retrograde in Aquarius around the beginning of May. It continues to move backward and now moves into Capricorn which challenges us all to review ideas around structure, our foundations, the rules that we choose to abide by, and how we feel about authority.

The last time that we experienced Saturn in Capricorn was between 1988 and 1991. During this time the Berlin wall was removed.

During this potent influence, we might see that type of energy playing out on the world stage with repressive governmental entities facing challenges or even falling. And this influence might also involve the military or law enforcement in some way.

If that isn’t a major theme on the macro level, I don’t know what is!

On the individual level we’re breaking through the regulatory barriers we place on ourselves, we have to remember what didn’t work for us before so that we don’t repeat the same mistakes.

Many people are looking for a lighter, more fun-loving summer (in the Northern Hemisphere), but July brings about a very sobering energy.

Don’t feel bummed, you can still get out in the sun. In fact, meditating under those bright rays might bring some amazing insights about how to move forward!

When these electric thought-forms jolt your brain, don’t shy away from making long-term plans or mapping out the steps to get to accomplish your dreams.

Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn

On Sunday, July 5, 2020 there will be a Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn. This is a very big day astrologically.

Eclipse season takes place twice a year, usually in pairs or threes. This will be the final Eclipse for this cycle on the Cancer-Capricorn axis, which means that it will mark a huge turning point and set the tone for the next 19 years.

Not only will this transform many people’s lives, but this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse will be supercharged highlighting the new leaders in our collective, our future, and new structures.

We’ve all been experiencing this series of Eclipses since January 2018 and finally, we’re closing a chapter.

Which chapter is ending for you? Think back to 2018 -- what initiations were you setting?

This is a great time for reflecting. Have you made any major changes since 2018? It’s also a good time to pat yourself on the back if you can recognize your growth.

Since this final Lunar Eclipse will be in Capricorn, there’s a sense of focusing on personal responsibilities and really feeling the consequences if you don’t.

If you’re a cardinal sign (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn), this Eclipse might shake you up a bit. Don’t rush into the next thing and the next thing and the next...

Instead, ask yourself are you being productive or busy? There’s a difference. Don’t start a new thing without finishing what you’ve started!

For everyone, this will highlight what we should be doing rather than what we really are focusing on. The energy presents a chance for you to get back on course. If you choose to ignore it, there will be consequences.

If you’re having big dreams and ambitions, your work-life balance will be highlighted also. There are only 24 hours in each day and it’s okay to delegate when you need to or make decisions about letting things go that no longer work for you.
