SUN MOVES INTO GEMINI
The beginning of the week may still hold a lingering heaviness, dreaminess, and energy of illusion when it comes to our romantic lives, means to abundance, and so much more. Last week, there were many shifts in the planets that affected us!
However, the middle of this week will bring about so much fun! On Wednesday, May 20, 2020 we can all look forward to the Sun shifting into Gemini, leaving behind the comfortable, solid energy of Taurus.

On Friday, May 22, we welcome a New Moon in Gemini! With the Moon cycles moving through Aries and the final release in Taurus in the Moon’s balsamic phase, we’re called to ask what we want to manifest with the New Moon in Gemini.
Between last week’s retrogrades that sparked a lot of reassessing and reevaluating in our lives, the Moon cycles also called us to begin the release of what is no longer working for us.
New Moons invite us to dream big and manifest with all the magic within us!
Gemini New Moons encourage us to expand past our normal “realistic” limits and approach manifestations with a child-like wonder. Maybe even communicating with friends and family could spark a new idea that you want to bring in with this New Moon energy!
Since Gemini is ruled by Mercury, the collective will be more communicative than ever. Writing, conversation, research, and expansive thinking are some of the things that can boost this New Moon energy.
Sharing the new ideas that you’d love to manifest can possibly kickstart these projects, especially with the trine between the Sun and Saturn on the very same day!

SUN TRINES SATURN
Also on Friday, the Sun trines Saturn. This energy is super supportive of anyone who has been feeling ambitious about the 2020 year.
Sure, we’ve been thrown many curveballs from the collective standpoint to even the individual challenges we’re presented with retrogrades and past complex aspects. However, this doesn’t mean that you don’t have any control of how to bring your dreams to life.
When the Sun trines Saturn, it brings forth our soul’s ambitions and desires to be supported in practical, Saturnian ways.
Since the Sun is in Gemini, our curiosity may be heightened when it comes to our dreams and supported in an intellectual way. We’re able to apply pragmatic, realistic strategy to our latest projects.
With this aspect parallelling the New Moon in Gemini, think bigger and better - manifest what you truly want! Grounded, disciplined Saturnian energy is actually supporting your goals and dreams right now!
DON'T FORGET... THE NODES SHIFTED EARLIER IN MAY
I just wanted to take a moment to remind you of the North Node shift from Cancer - Capricorn to Gemini - Sagittarius that took place May 5, 2020. The North and South Nodes don’t shift very often - only once every couple of years - so this was a big collective shift that we are ALL still adjusting to.
We’ve discussed the North Node and the South Node before, but I’ll give you a quick reminder. The North Node is your purpose for reincarnating in this lifetime. Some cultures refer to this as fulfilling your “dharma” when you move in that direction, while your South Node leads you through “karma” or karmic lessons.
Now that the collective nodes have shifted, we have to evaluate what energy we’re all supposed to be moving away from and what energy we’re supposed to be moving towards.
With the South Node in Sagittarius, it’s time to let go of our old belief systems. If we try to hold onto them, we will all be faced with karmic lessons. I think we can see how this is affecting us now, especially since we are experiencing the early energy of the shift. We all haven’t adjusted yet.
The North Node is now in Gemini, again supporting a lot of airy, curious energy. Communication is key just as well as community and working with our brothers and sisters -- just as the 3rd house (or house with Geminian attributes) would suggest.
I say all of this to give us all a quick reminder that the energy this week is also reflective of the bigger picture!
