I saw an interesting meme this week...

It said, “2020 is starting to look more like a season finale.”

On both the micro and macro levels, the energy on our lovely planet is extremely concentrated right now.

Although we can all witness in real-time how fast the energy has been moving since 2020 started, it sometimes can feel like we’re knee-deep in quicksand.

I know that this isn’t what any of us had planned for this new year, but what’s happening is actually very transformational.

Literally, the world as we know it is coming to an end.

Rather than mourning this “death” of the old reality, the shift in North Node and South Node from Cancer/Capricorn to Gemini/Sagittarius encourages us to embrace this new energy and be adaptable with these mutable signs.

As I mentioned last week, the best way to approach things now is with the twins’ curiosity rather than crabby defensiveness since that energy is passing.

Some may find it really difficult to face the shadowy energy of the collective right now (or even the shadow work that they’re being appointed to do themselves) because our perceptions of our friends, powers that be, and selves are being challenged.

However, this is truly divinely timed and encouraged by the cosmos, allowing us to “rewrite” our value scripts and question what’s really important to us and who’s really there for us.

What work do I have to do on an individual level?

What truths are being revealed to me at this time?

Are the people in my life truly in alignment with my higher self?

I think that we will all find Gemini season (especially this first week of June) to be a time of new truths and discoveries.

This airy energy can be monumentally beneficial when you surrender to the revelations of the universe and allow yourself to flow with the energy rather than against it.

In fact, with Venus squaring Mars on Tuesday, the Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius this Friday, and a T-square Mars in Pisces... up to three shifts will take place that thicken the plot.

Yes, this is a profound time.

Having the astrological insight won’t help you avoid experiencing these energy shifts, but it can help you better navigate them with grace and understanding.

Venus square Mars

At the very beginning of the week on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, Venus will square Mars which amplifies the Venus Retrograde energy that we’ve already been experiencing.

With any retrograde, we’re always called to REassess, REvisit, REgroup, and REturn.

Since we’re dealing with Venus in retrograde, this can have to do with matters of the heart, meaning reevaluating the ones you hold closest to you.

Normally, this is already a challenging time for relationships of all kinds from friends and family members to lovers.

This is also a time where unresolved issues in relationships will resurface for review.

What is no longer working?

How can you adapt?

Or is it time to move on?

When Mars comes into play, especially with an aggressive aspect like Venus square Mars, conflict may be on the rise between you and your loved ones.

Literally, you’ll probably be able to cut the tension in the air with a knife if you don’t give your partnerships space to process their emotions.

So take a deep breath and a step back.

You’ll probably be challenged to diffuse a situation with your loved one.

How do you really go about de-escalating situations when you care about someone?

Have a conversation?

Kiss and make up?

Or stay stuck in unproductive energy?

Find a way to release this energy so you don’t say something you regret.

Sun Conjunct Venus Retrograde

This isn’t great news, but the confrontational energy doesn’t let up in the love sector the following day.

On Wednesday, June 3, 2020 the Sun will conjunct Venus in Retrograde, which basically amplifies the energy of the day before.

Again, while experiencing retrogrades, we come across a variety of challenges -- mainly focused on energetic boundaries.

Issues not dealt with fully in the past may resurface during this time.

While you and your loving partner may be at odds still from the day before, there could be some tempting energy to revisit an ex-lover or old friendship.

If you value your current friendships and relationships, don’t fall for the decoy!

However, if you really aren’t satisfied with how your relationships are going and genuinely would like to REvisit or REconcile an old friendship or relationship, Venus Retrograde gives you the energy to do so.

Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius

Take a deep breath! There's a potent Lunar Eclipse on Friday, June 5, 2020 in Sagittarius.

This one might have you feeling quite confused and ungrounded as it comes with a triple-whammy of energy shifts.

Before we dive into the details, the best advice that I can give you is to trust that whatever needs to leave your life, will leave it - don’t hold on to what is no longer working.

That will just make things more difficult in the long run.

Instead, do a deep dive on your belief systems, find the ones that no longer are aligned with your life, and let them go.

That’s what one of the major energy shifts calls us to ask with the collective North Node/South Node shifting from Cancer/Capricorn to Gemini/Sagittarius.

We have touched on this before, but I have to emphasize that embracing mutable energy while changes in your life take place is going to be imperative for you to not completely lose your mind.

That’s just on the micro-level, too. On the macro, we see huge shifts in perspectives as truths continue to reveal themselves throughout the chit-chatty Gemini season.

We can all take a note from our lovely Sagittarius that loves to travel the globe: take a look at other countries and how they are adjusting.

What can we learn from them?

Also, the Mercury-Uranus sextile brings about a new way of channeling brilliance.

With this combination being in Cancer and Taurus, you might get that flash of unique Uranian insight while just eating a pint of ice cream at home.

This out of the box thinking can help with the energy of the lunar eclipse by opening us up.

Finally, the lunar eclipse creates a T-square with Mars and Neptune.

This aspect emphasizes the overwhelming challenges at this time, amplifying global issues.

The T-square highlights confusion (Neptune) and we want to get on with something (Mars), but we feel held back.

It’s hard to go for something when you haven’t really figured out what you want yet...

Because Neptune is involved there can be a false perception of what is going on, so the best advice that I can give you is to be patient and kind with yourself and others.

Take baby steps in this emotional time.

Again, call on that Sagittarius energy to teach us new ways by pivoting and traveling to new measures when it’s the right time.

The biggest take-aways to making the best of this week’s energy is to stay as adaptable and flexible as possible. Also, consider looking at everything in your life from new angles and be open to out-of-the-box ideas.
