Venus Goes Direct

If you and your loved ones have made it through Venus Retrograde, it might be time to just give them a huge bear hug.

Venus Retrograde periods are always challenging as we as humans long for connection. Life becomes so much more difficult to cope with when we’re at odds with the people that we hold close to us.

Thankfully, on Thursday, June 25, 2020, Venus will be going direct which will make our love life, friendships, and family relationships flow much more smoothly.

If you made it through this retrograde period, you can rest assured that these are the people that need to be in your life right now.

This doesn’t mean that everything just goes “back to normal,” though. There were several weeks where we discussed heated arguments between lovers. With Mercury in Retrograde, the energy invites you to try mending relationships through clear, honest communication.

If anyone stepped out on a relationship during Venus retrograde, Gemini (our favorite intellectual) will encourage you to be honest with yourself and communicate what transpired with your partner. Was it really their fault or yours?

With all of these energies still taking place during Gemini season, we can still turn this heavy energy back around and be more intimate with one another, taking a light-hearted child-like approach.

Venus in Gemini is great networking energy. It is toned down to the intellectual level, so connect with people who are on your level intellectually to sort out the facts.

These energies are mutable so we can adapt to our changing world so look for new ways to communicate. Mercury retrograde will also force us to find new ways to communicate our emotions.

Mars in Aries

Neptune Retrograde

When dealing with the planet Neptune, it’s helpful to remember the literal placement of this planet up in our galaxy. Neptune is the furthest planet from the Sun (except for Pluto).

When you begin to study astrology through a variety of ancient cultures, we know that the Sun is essential to how to navigate this world - we literally revolve around it. However, Neptune is the eradication of the Sun’s energy (ego, pride, and it’s duality combined with the moon).

In layman terms, Neptune represents the furthest thing from the Sun, or the ego or degrees of separation from spirituality as Neptune brings us so far out that there’s only oneness to be experienced.

Neptunian energy is that that can not be explained but must be experienced and that’s the only way to get to know it -- to surrender to it. It’s all that we can feel and know without having to physically see proof of it.

So, now bring in the retrograde aspect on Monday, June 22, 2020.

It can be very easy to become wrapped up in the feelings of things rather than the facts of things. This longing for oneness and connection can cause us to develop illusions or escapist ideals from the reality that we’re actually experiencing.

When Neptune is in retrograde, you can expect a lot of aloof energy and not clearly seeing everything that’s afoot.

Normally, when Neptune is retrograde, it’s not a huge deal because it’s an outer planet, but because we have so many planets retrograde right now, this creates a lot of confusing energy.

It can feel like having a blindfold on and feeling our way through the fog. So be very careful with your words and don’t take anything at face value

Rather than moving first with masculine energy (the Sun), it’s the perfect time to turn inward and be introspective.

Neptune invites you to connect with your spirituality again by meditating and spending time with yourself. Focus on finding the connectedness with everything around you through gratitude and appreciation.

You may find that you have spiritual revelations, intuitive thoughts, and otherworldly experiences that should all be embraced. This is a way to “level your vibration up” when you learn to surrender to experiences that you cannot explain.

Remember, you’re not obligated to explain your individual experiences to anyone either. With Neptune present, they don’t require validation or an ego boost.
